Winter Accessoires

Hello once again! What have you been up to? I've been juggling around with blog post ideas, doing some smaller DIY things, failing at uni stuff and staying at home (it's so cold outside!). Anyway, what accessoires do you wear in winter? I simply love fleecy scarves, woolen caps with bobbles and my fingered gloves! No cold winter day without them! What I also love are animal-themed earrings/rings - owls (as you know already), foxes, rabbits, or deers. Look at this great ring my deerest (haha) friend J. gave me for Christmas! ❤

And I must be full of bad karma, because I don't only fail at papers, but one of my cats had a fight and now one of her feet is swollen and she hobbles around... The vet told me to get homeoopathic meds, and since I gave her some she seems to feel a bit better, but I don't really trust homoeopathic stuff. 
I once took some of them and they sort of helped, but maybe that was just a placebo effect..? I really just hope my vet's right saying I don't need to come to her with Josy.. Cross your fingers, please!

New Year's Resolutions: 1. Get Organized

It's a new year and time for new resolutions! I inter alia want to get organized. But where do I take my motivation from? It's easy. Find a way to make your home more appealing to you, by decorating etc., so that it feels.. well, more 'worthy' to keep your things organized there. We bought new curtains and a few other things that made me feel 'home' eventually in my flat (after >2 yrs living here!).
First, I wanted to get rid of nails stuck in my wall to put my necklaces on them. It looked so ugly! So we went to IKEA and found these awesome hooks, put them on the wall, then I added two spare frames I still had on top, flipped my old calendar together so only the image is shown and voilą! (I still need to frame that calendar picture.. u_u)
I started by sorting out simple things, such as nail polishes, and neatly putting them in a nice box. I know that 'getting organized' is not about putting things in boxes, but if you really muck out you won't have stuff standing around, alluring dust.
See? An additional board on my wall and less stuff in my shelves. And it sort of looks nice. (I LOVE these Matryoshka figures!) ❤
